This month we're reading Liar, Temptress, Soldier, Spy by Karen Abbott a gripping, true-history account of four daring women who operated undercover during the American Civil War. May's Library Storytime

At our May’s story time Kathy read the book Bark George, a funny, heartwarming tale about a puppy who surprises his mother by making every animal sound except a bark. After the story, the children made paper bag puppets of George and received a small plastic animal to take home as a special treat. Then they enjoyed delicious cookies, shaped like dog treats, baked by Lorraine and Katharine. We hope you and your little ones will join us when Storytime returns in September.

Showcase of the Arts 2026

Since 1914, the Woman's Club of Royersford has supported education, the arts, and community service. One of the ways we continue that tradition is through our annual Showcase of the Arts program, which recognizes the creativity and accomplishments of local students.

We invite you to celebrate the outstanding young artists featured in this slideshow. Their talent, hard work, and imagination are truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone who supports our programs and fundraising efforts throughout the year. Your generosity helps us invest in projects that benefit our community. Congratulations to all our participants and winners.

Designer Bag Bingo a Major Hit

The Woman’s Club of Royersford Designer Bag Bingo was a tremendous success, drawing a lively crowd who thoroughly enjoyed the festivities. Attendees had the opportunity to win from a selection of 23 designer bags and over 30 raffle baskets along with special raffles including Phillies tickets, a gift card tree, and a 50/50 drawing. With so many prizes available, numerous participants left with exciting rewards.

S-F High School Senior Awards

Celebrating Excellence
The Woman's Club of Royersford was proud to recognize five outstanding Spring-Ford High School seniors at the 2026 Commencement Awards Ceremony. Through our annual recognition awards program, the club awarded $5,000 or $1,000 to each student who exemplified achievement, leadership, service, creativity, and academic excellence. We are honored to support these remarkable students as they pursue their future educational and career goals.

WCR publishes its newsletter monthly between the board meeting and the general luncheon meeting. Members will receive an email notification when it is posted, so they can access the website to view or download the PDF copy below.

Our Monthly Meetings

WCR meets monthly from September through May at noon, typically on the third Thursday, at Spring Hollow Golf Club for the 2026-2027 year while awaiting completion of renovations at Spring Ford Country Club.
